I don’t know anything about the “Blogging Professor”, but I heard Professor John Lott on KSFO (SF) within the last year who used to be a Professor at U of Chi (I forget where he is now). Lott was very clear that Obama was NOT a professor, but rather a guest lecturer.

He also said that he had approached Obama and asked him if they could discuss some issues. Obama basically said oh, you’re that gun guy (Lott wrote More Guns, Less Crime among other books) and turned around and walked off. Lott said that Obama never talked to people who disagreed with him.

If I remember correctly...Lott did ask him a question. And it went something like this..."What do you think about gun ownership, Mr. Obama?"

Supposedly Obama said..something like this..."I don't think anyone should own guns."
