We need about 188,000 new jobs every month just to keep even.

??? We've been losing close to half a million a WEEK. We need over 11 million new jobs just to get back to the "failing" Bush economy.

BTW, are we better off now than we were 4 years ago? (A rhetorical question, of course.)

The question that ought to be asked everyday until November is:

“Are you better off than you were 3 years ago?”

This nation elected Democrats to rule the Congress in 2006. January 2007 is precisely when everything went south.

“We’ve been losing close to half a million a WEEK.”

Did you mean ‘a month’? In any case, yeah, we’ve, ‘they’ve’ got a long way to go and no amount of lying about in the Washington Compost will change the facts on the ground.
