Not to worry. It’s not true! What a load of crap! Just another sore loser! Duke played a great game; so did Butler. KUDOS to both teams...fortunately for this one, Duke came away the victors. Nobody cheated...no bad calls; just a great ball game all the way ‘round...good referees, great coaching, and awesome playing by both teams. Butler did not lose the game...it’s just that in the end, Duke was the team with the lead.

Beg to differ with you. Here’s from CNNSI: “when Lance Thomas took down Hayward hard to prevent an easy layup with 5:07 left. The refs reviewed the play and decided not to call it flagrant”

First, if you look up “flagrant foul” in the dictionary, they could use that play as an example. Butler shoulda had 2 FTs and got the ball back.

Second: Butler shoulda been shooting free throws at the end there when the big guy, Zoubek, stiff-armed the Butler guy to the floor in the last minute. Butler did get the ball back, but they shoulda been shooting free throws. Coulda tied the game.
