Yet another jaw-dropper for a president whose stock-in-trade is manufacturing a false image. Yesterday, after botching the first-pitch at the Washington Nationals' home-opener, the president was asked a simple question: Who, while growing up, was your favorite Chicago White Sock? Obama, who lived and worked in the Sox' South Side ‘hood, might have named a number of players-Bill Melton. Richie Allen. or Moe Drabowsky.
Instead, he whiffed. Seems the White Sox fan can't name a White Sock (and refers to the well known former Chicago landmark Comiskey part as "Cominsky" park). This is typical of Obama, who when not lecturing, is micro-managed to avoid conversation. When off-script, with real people, he isn't the One, enlightening the masses, he's a misinformed phony. The media, unfortunately, won't tell it like it is.
And the president still looks really bad tossing out the first pitch at the National's opening day game against the Phillies.

Imagine if it was GWB. The media shamelessly protects this fraud.
I guarantee Bush would have been able to answer the question, AND throw a strike from the mound. Obama is the “idiot” that Bush is supposed to be.

About the only thing I've ever heard him say was, "Our N-Worders can beat their N-Worders.
How the heck would he know about baseball? Or the national anthem? Or how many states we have? Or how long a presidents term is (he said 10 years, but that's in Indonesia).
Give the guy a break and show some courtesy to our Kenyan president, please.
He said he was a “south side kid”. The words are important but the full-of-himself manner of just jiving with the guys was so....just so....like...just one of the guys...discussing the White Sox, talking oh-gosh about being a south-side kid. Then one guy ask him who his favorite White Sox player was....and you hear this....”er...eh......” then he says, and I’m not making this up “well I liked the Cubs too.”
For a brief moment I fell for that south-side kid, aw shucks. I even tried to remember famous White Sox players as to guess ahead of his south-side kid answer what White sox player he might name...so I’m trying to remember some famous White Sox players. Figuring this south-side kid would know them all, probably their batting averages and the ERA’s of all the pitchers.
Heh.
Yastremski....Carl Yastremski....wasn’t he a famous White Sox player? I know I’m spelling that wrong but that was the only name I could recall as I tried to beat that aw shucks south-side Chicago kid to the answer.
