Gingrich & Romney are weak leaders (Mark Levin's appraisal)
Mark Levin Fan ^ | 4/14/2010 | Mark Levin Fan

Tuesday, Mark pointed out that Newt Gingrich is still defending his appearance in that stupid Global Warming ad with Nancy Pelosi.

Give me a break!

Then on Wednesday, Mark set his sights on Mitt Romney for praising Obama.

We don’t need a president that’s as wimpy as these two. We need a strong leader like Palin.

Between Palin and Gingrich, who do I think is smarter and would do better in a debate against Obama? Answering honestly?

Palin. Gingrich is too smart by half -- so "too smart" that he's an idiot. ANYBODY who does not perceive by now that the global warming hooey IS "snake oil science" is an idiot not worthy of my -- or your -- praise.

I'm being honest with myself and with you. Now why don't YOU try being honest with yourself for a change: yes or no, are you an elitist snob?

Levin has really been spot on the past few weeks.....he railed on Juan Hussein McCain recently...and supports JD Hayworth

Between Palin and Gingrich, HONESTLY, who would you rather see debate Obama? Who do you think really has the deeper grasp of all the issues and a superior ability to express the conservative position?

Be honest with yourself. Who is smarter? Who is more articulate? Who would fare better as a representative of conservatism and as a person to articulate the conservative vision and belief system.

Yes, Romney is a much more polished speaker and debater

The problem with Romney being the 2012 candidate is that it will take ObamaCare off the table as an issue.....Socialized medicine is supported by both Obama and Romney

Which is why the McCain canidacy was bad....it took Illegal Alien Amnesty off the table as an issue with McCain as a pro-Amnesty candidate....imagine how many Dems would have been brought in with a secure-borders, no amnesty candidate? The GOP got hung up on the myth that “hispanics will vote for a pro-amnesty candidate”

Romney poses huge problems in going after Obama on ObamaCare

Sarah Palin hands down. Gingrich is a guilty white republican that craves approval from the media. Palin has NO white guilt. She's worked for everything in her life, unlike obama and Gingrich. Here's what kills any chance Gingrich has at the nomination. In the months that followed the decision of the Iraq troop surge strategy by pres. Bush, when Bush stood alone versus the entire media/democrat party and leftist military generals, State dept., CIA etc., Newt's fatass was all over Sunday morning news shows and on Fox declaring the war lost, what a failure Bush was and that Bush should admit he failed , “cross the aisle” and join together with nancy pelosi, harry reid and the Iraq study group and plan a strategy to leave Iraq. Plus his global warming belief nonsense where he concedes the issue to john kerry, pelosi, etc. And he has the worst voice tonality of just about any politician around. I mean please. His normal speaking voice is that nasal lecturing whine that is unbearable. There's much more, but the ones listed are campaign killers.

We need someone of the frame of mind and strength of character of Mark Rubio and Adam West.

Adam West?

I think you meant Allen West.

:)

Newt did great work with his contract with America and leading the pubbies to victory why back when.
Since then he has spent too much time in D.C. and now craves the MSM spotlight a bit too much.
Then he allowed the party to act like dem lite and spend like drunk sailors.
Recently he has appeared in adds with Hillary and Ms. Pelosi and he has lost any true conservative notions he ever had.
As for Romney? Pretty face RINO turd who I refuse to support no matter what.

Easy...Sarah Palin!

Newt's good when he's on his own, but during debates when he's on stage with a political opponent, he ALWAYS folds like a cheap suitcase.

Sarah does not back down and openly calls them out for the evil they are - "All Alinsky. All the Time."

I believe she runs if the Repubs have a solid Nov,2010 victory that she can use as a base for her 2012 campaign.

Myth & Newt are finished. RuPaul is a nutcase.

Th marxist media & their bosses in the Alinsky Party have a great fear of Sarah. And they should!

see my tagline....

I guess the Romney sycophants will have to cross Mark Levin off their list of prominent conservatives they claim are Romney supporters LOL.

“Between Palin and Gingrich, HONESTLY, who would you rather see debate Obama? Who do you think really has the deeper grasp of all the issues and a superior ability to express the conservative position?”
_______________________________
For the reasons most ably stated by earlier posters, Palin. Did you happen to watch her deconstruct Biden in her debate with him? Do you seriously doubt that she would mop the floor with the vacuous Obama who can’t manage a 5 word toast without a teleprompter?

“Be honest with yourself. Who is smarter? Who is more articulate? Who would fare better as a representative of conservatism and as a person to articulate the conservative vision and belief system.”

___________________________
I really don’t know who is smarter. Sarah Palin is more correct on the issues and believes them more deeply than Gingrich who mouths them when it is meet to do so and distances himself from them when it is not. And she articulates them in a way that inspires people and does not put them to sleep.

I think you confuse smugness for intelligence. Jimmy Carter, who had a degree in nuclear physics from Annapolis and finished in the top 10% of his class, obviously knew things that Ronald Reagan did not know. Reagan occasionally mangled the syntax and Carter delivered his points in neat cookie cutter soundbites. Yet Reagan demolished Carter with one line in 1980. Carter was smug and arrogant, much like Gingrich and the American people hate that. They do not like these politicians talking down to them. Gingrich has a Ph.D in condescension (as does Obama).

Gingrich has skills akin to Carter’s. Palin has skills akin to Reagan’s. Palin is fearless and not cowed by political correctness and she would stand toe to toe with Obama and the lamestream media and beat them. Gingrich, at the sign of the least pressure, would trim his sails. and you know it. And, in trimming hs sails, he would lose.

Mark-there is no way for me to express to you how THRILLED I am that you see Sarah for what she has done, what she stands for and what she could become to this nation.

She lifts me up so high; I had forgotten what that good flush of patriotism and common sense can do!

She is a warrior for commonsense and defense of our American Constitution.

And she is so unaffected by elitist snobbery and unaffected in her own demeanor....ya just have to love her if ya love our country. There is no way to split that apart.

I just listened to the excerpt, posted by a C4P'er. Levin really let Romney have it, while once again heaping praise on Sarah and her leadership in standing up to the Obama regime. Good stuff.

Here's the link to the audio. It's 10 min. long.
