I don’t watch any news on TV, I get my news online, like HERE and Drudge!

I doubt that you know much about Sean Hannity. Maybe you are just jealous of his hair. I’ve been to his Freedom Alliances(have you?) from which he donates 100 percent of the profits to children of fallen American soldiers. He is a good family man, a true Reagan Conservative, generous and well liked by his peers. And anyone whom the Great One endorses is okay with me.
Juan Williams? Are you frikking kidding me? Dumb as a box o’rocks.

Well, can’t disagree about Cavuto (at least I though that was his name)... I really like him and watch (and record) his show daily. Can’t say that Hannity has ever been my favorite, actually seldom watch his show except when special guests are on... so, not attached personally, just a bit of gut reaction. I apologize for any animosity you might have felt...

yeah Mary, you caught me...I am jealous of his hair.....

This is going to come as a shock to you, but not everyone is who you think they are....especially in politics and show biz....

I could care less what you think about me, I have a great life, with a great family, and am well respected in my community by people worth respecting. But I took the time to respond to you because I truly urge you to realize that we are all easily fooled by a media imposed reputation of folks.

I disagree with Juan everytime he opens his trap...almost everytime...but I respect him because he will admit things he doesn’t want to admit, in other words, he TRIES to be honest....I would rather have a beer with a dumb, honest man, than a liar and a coward, even if that coward says the right things....

Beyond neat, that you know Herman Cain in person! The man is exceptional in so many ways that should make all of us proud that we’re conservative Republicans and that this learned, good man is a conservative Republican. He doesn’t mince words. He speaks out against Obama and his Marxist policies without pausing to put his finger into the wind. That’s called integrity and a true American allegiance to our Constitution. God bless Herman Cain!

I think you are close. To my knowledge, there can be no charge for an audience for a TV show. Some Fed stuff. It is possible that FOX found out about the charge too late to check to see if the minimal charge for a different party would be OK or not. FOX understandidly (sp?) pulled Hannity rather than risk millions dollars of fines.

Why does everybody get so upset with FOX, Hannity or whoever before the facts are known? It happens so often!

So why all of the sudden did FOX change its mind on such?

*************************

Suits are institutionalized caution and conformity.

Cowards + pompous.

This is a bad decision but not surprising.

Because they are in the business. They know the rules. Someone should have checked in the WEEKS they promoted the thing.

There is a large segment of society that believe that what they see on T.V. is reality. They think they can know someone they see on T.V. as if it is someone in their personal life. Sean or whoever comes into their home through their T.V. each night, and they have a one sided conversation (unless they have really lost touch with reality and talk back to Sean or whoever.),and they feel all better. Instead of thinking for themselves ,they rather let the boob tube fill their brains full of meme’s, so they can feel like they know something. In reality they only know what they have been told not what they should know. We are a nation of addicts and the powers that be know it. Our drug of choice is the brainwashing box in our living rooms and they are the pushers. Try turning off your T.V’s for a week, and see if they take you seriously then.

FOX was putting on a Hannity show. Somebody in the TEA movement was trying to make THEIR finances balance. I can see quite clearly than FOX didn’t know TEA’s problems, and vice versa.

We don’t know when they finally got together with the problem, nor how long it to do anything major like changing the whole venue of the show.

What I am trying to say is that too many people complain when not enough facts are known.

Wow... here’s the answer to the mystery why Hannity didn’t appear at the Cincinnati Tea Party today.

We tuned into Sean's show tonight expecting to see him live at the Cincinnati Tea Party with Bill Cunningham, Joe the Plumber and a huge crowd of Ohio Tea Partiers, as he had advertised at the end of his radio show today. Instead Sean was live in his NYC studio, not talking much about the Tea Party, and the show seemed hastily put together. We figured something had gone wrong. Wow, now we know what happened.

That's really a shame for Cincinnati Tea Partiers who were expecting to see him.

Fortunately, C-SPAN2 was running video of today's Tea Party Express III rally in Washington DC at the same time (9pm EDT)... :o)

Thank you, Man50D, for the heads up on this story.

Fox IMO lost money tonight, when I found out about this I didn’t even put Sean on, how many others are like me?

We switched off "Hannity" tonight and tuned into C-SPAN2, which was running video of today's Tea Party Express rally in DC.

Then we tuned back to Fox for Greta's show, because she always does an excellent job in covering Tea Party events. Sure enough, Greta led off her show with Griff Jenkins reporting from one of the bigger Tea Parties in California.

I was well aware of all the drama and problems caused last year by Hannity along with a few of his friends here in the state.

Can you tell us exactly what you mean by those comments? I'm not being critical, I'm just really curious. I think we're all curious. What "drama" and "problems" were created by Hannity and friends last year?

Cavuto did an excellent job at the Atlanta Tea Party today from what I saw on Fox, but I also thought Hannity did a fantastic job in Atlanta last year... based on what I saw on TV, of course, I wasn't there.

“Yet, you are on the internet.” What does that have to do with my statements. The difference between the internet and T.V. is a apple and oranges thing. We are having a conversation which is interactive. Listening to someone on T.V. verbally masturbate is not interactive. On the internet ,I have access to an almost unlimited amount of information about an almost unlimited number of subjects. On the T.V. your choices are extremely limited ,and most people hang out where their brain feels the most comfortable. On the internet I decide what interests me. On T.V. they tell you what to be interested in. The internet doesn’t have an agenda. The talking heads on T.V.do. There is a simple rule that has served me well, and helped me navigate the land of lies that people with bad intentions have turned this country into. The more you know about everything, the harder it is to be fooled by anything.

I agree with you- although, TV has been and is becoming more interactive. The internet is a natural progression of TV commo. We used to communicate by TV, on simple rating’s pulls, by agree or don’t agree. The internet is not that different.

The problem is Fox has not explained the problem. What may be exactly the correct thing to do is overwhelmed by a different perception by the public. Doing the "right thing" can blow up in your face.

This is particularly troubling because most of us cannot believe anything we hear on television anymore.

We live in a country where everything presented to us by any mass media outlet should be presumed to be a total lie.

It is now impossible to believe what we are hearing is the truth..... ABOUT ANYTHING!

America is now about manipulation of the facts in the media....exactly the same result that happened in the Soviet Union.

Objective truth is no longer available in mass media.

Everything said on a TV network of any kind can reasonably be expected to be nothing but a pack of lies.
