For 20 seconds on Thursday, President Obama basked in applause from donors in Miami when he mocked the nationwide Tea Party rallies that caused an eruption of angst on Tax Day.
"I've been a little amused over the last couple of days where people have been having these rallies about taxes. You would think they would be saying thank you," Obama said to a group of Democratic supporters who shelled out between $250 and $1250 to attend.
But it remains unclear who will get the last laugh: the president or the Tea Party?
"What the president said last night was arrogant and smug and a perfect example of why the Tea Party is so intense and so organized" said Republican strategist Terry Holt
Democratic strategist Peter Mirijanian defended Obama's statement by saying if you take a look at the middle class voters, contrary to protesters' claims, you'll see that their income levels and their taxes have actually not gone up.

Are these people serious? We should all just take a look at this year’s taxes, without any regards to the tax increases that WILL come in starting in 2011 (allowing Bush tax cuts to lapse, Medical “reform” taxes, etc...)? There isn’t one journalist who can mention that simple fact?
For the record: I'm all for money well spent on law enforcement, the military and other “Essential” government services, that's fine with me. But idiots like this guy and the socialist cabal behind him are slowly sucking the life out of our civilization to the point where, I believe, the goal is the total collapse of it. Why? To try and re-establish that old canard of “World Socialism”.
Remember this: Obama is a “Front Man”, it's the people backing him that should be our concern.
and one last rant: We have to stop referring to these jokers as “Liberals”; They're not, they are socialists and communists and the American people have to be enlightened to this fact. Calling them Liberals only justifies their fascist philosophies and gives them legitimacy where none is deserved.

Well, I guess I’m one of the ones that Obama would say “benefited” from his porkulus plan. I qualified for the $2500 college tuition credit for my son who is attending the University of California. Previously my salary was too high to qualify. But the money came by borrowing from the Chinese, so both my son and I will have to pay it back in higher taxes very shortly.
Even more aggravating is before the ink was dry on the porkulus bill I got a letter from the UC Regents saying tuition was increasing 32% next year and they justified it by saying I could afford it because of the new tuition tax credit.
Obama really thinks the American people are stupid. In fact, the entire dem party are putting all their chips on the table betting the American people are dumb enough to keep them in power.

I was impressed with a young gal who got up and spoke and told her story of spending her first years in Russia. She is blown away that we now have an administration and politicians that are just like the government she and her family left.
So the next day I look at the Press Democrat ( the local paper) to see what was said about the gathering. Not much said just a few pics of people at the tea party. The way they depicted it with pics was showing older folks and kids standing around like it was an easter egg hunt with select signs showing the tamer sayings. Well my sing was in one of the group shots...and guess what...they had pixeled my sign blank. Now was this young lady right the mark or what?
I fear we’re past the point of no return. The ‘progressive’ agenda requires alot of revenue. Obama’s policies are narrowing the tax base when it should be expanding it. In other words there are fewer taxpayers and a larger need for taxes. The deficit spending WILL be curtailed by interest rates. (We’re paying over $300B/yr in interest with rates this low. Our interest payments will be over $500B by 2015, BEFORE the health care debacle passed. Our risk of default is going up so will interest rates.
Greece is now paying over 7% on a ten year sovereign note.)
