You could tell it would come to this. I remember a slew of studies in the past 15 or so years:
Coffee is bad for you.
No, coffee is good for you!
Chicken is bad, causes cancer.
No, chicken is good, lowers cholesterol.
Eggs are bad, they raise cholesterol.
No, eggs are good, lots of protien.
Chocolate is bad for you.
No, chocolate is good for you!
Er, only dark chocolate is good for you.
Come up with a position, and some “scientist” will support it with a study. If I had a LOT of money and had a theory that paying someone to excersize for you while you drank beer, ate cheeseburgers and watched sports on TV. I could get a “scientist” to provide a study to prove it.
We live in very dishonest times. And moving farther away from God isn’t helping matters.
That didn't work for the tobacco companies, because it's only half the picture. No matter if you buy the scientists, you have to buy the politicians first.
