I have Kalashnikitty on the stock of my Saiga-12, and on my 20 rd drum. Even though they are both black, I think she “girlifies” them exactly the right amount. I could never go for a pink gun, but I love Kalashnikitty.

Without them there is no victory for us. I’m not saying its
wrong to parade with guns, just ill-advised. Most people don’t associate guns with anything except killing. I’m
just saying - its not going to win a lot of unconvinced to our side.
______________________________________________
1. Most people who associate guns with killing are not useful to the movement.
2. How many people were killed at the rally?

Once again at a peaceful rally, we are viewed as violent thugs, rather than citizens with rights. This is only shocking to the ignorant rubes that voted for Obama.

THe timing issue is a non issue. We have rights, one of them is the 2nd admendment. Any person who cannot understand this, are a lost cause. Don’t count on them for votes.

They sure look like they’d like to shoot someone.

Did they point their guns at anybody? If no, they you are incorrect.

I don't open carry at gun rights rallies since I prefer carrying concealed. It is legal, and I have no problem with others doing that. I am not threatened by that.

but notice there have not been any wide-angle shots of the crowd. I have heard hundreds from Fox News and dozens from AP.

Its not the left we are trying to win, its the vast middle ground with all the soccer moms and squeamish middle class. Without them there is no victory for us. I’m not saying its wrong to parade with guns, just ill-advised. Most people don’t associate guns with anything except killing. I’m just saying - its not going to win a lot of unconvinced to our side.

I see this point. I agreed with it 12 years ago. It was also a different era in firearms 12 years ago with Columbine.

Things have changed on the ground. The reason is concealed carry and its success. Many of those soccer moms are now carrying or know people who carry - people that aren't "gun nuts" like some characterize me. Concealed carry classes are filling up. Permits are increasing heavily. I can't speak for Washington State, but that's from Michigan.

Before you saying that Michigan is probably the most pro-gun of the blue states, I live in the people's republic of Washtenaw County, with an Ann Arbor mailing address. I've seen inroads made here, which is one of the most anti-gun areas in the state.

I think most people aren't paying attention to this march. If there was a shooting there, I'd agree with you, but there wasn't.

LOL! I cannot stop laughing.

That would be GREAT in shooting galleries (shooting ranges) in Guam, Saipan, Hawaii and L.A. which cater to timid yet curious and well-heeled Japanese who want to pop off a few rounds while on vacation before going back to the archipelago where they cannot easily do that stuff. Boys will be boys.

And girls, too! They would like the "Hello Kitty" gig.

How is posing with a gun going to help throw Dems out of office? Most normal people think this is nutcase behavior.

You are conflating the diverse purposes of different rallies. This was a 2nd Amendment rally. Dems need to know there are limits on this government due to an armed citizenry. Rallies like this lets them see a representative number of armed Americans, so they will know that they can't tyrannize us, and we'll just roll over and let them like the Jews in Germany.

The rifles should not have been unloaded. Unloaded rifles are worthless.

Of course Libtards are too clueless to realize that the mind attached to the trigger finger is of more danger than the hunk of metal that rides on the hip.

...Sure I’ll argue. I’m not a liberal or a dem and I own a sh!tload of guns....

Liberals and gun controlers often say they own guns. In fact, nearly all the public figures of the Brady Campaign are gun owners. It doesn’t mean they support freedom. Either the right to keep and BARE arms is supported or it isn’t; there isn’t any middle ground.

Armed? They didn’t bring ammo. How is that being armed. The only thing an ammoless rifle is good for is for use as a club.

My suggestion to you is to research history. Specifically, look up the Bonus Army. Look up the Boston massacre. Look up the original Boston Tea Party. Look up the Revolutionary War.

People today are realizing that our Government is NOT allowing us redress of grievencess. The people we have elected to represent us are not doing so. Like it or not, you are going to see far more armed protests in the future. Doing so is a warning to the Federal Government. “We are armed, we expect you to represent us, not repress us. We will no longer tolorate your insolence.”

I understand that it makes you uncomfortable. It is making the people that would rule us more uncomfortable and deservedly so. We’ve had bad laws jammed up our backsides against our will for over 50 years. Longer than that actually with no accountability from the elected officials who have done these questionable deeds.

I have fought for over 20 years trying to keep our political battles civil and peaceful. I can no longer do this not out of a desire otherwise, but because I recognize something that many in history have come to recognize. Admiral Yamamoto said it best. “I fear we have awakened a sleeping giant.”

Our own Government has been poking a stick into the hornets nest that is America. The hornets have buzzed out warnings for decades. Now, the stingers are showing. Do I want violence? Nope. I abhor the idea of our nation falling into civil war. You watch, the Government will fire the first shot and all holy hell is going to break loose.

Our Government can only blame itself when it happens. Sadly, it’s not too late to stop it but no one in Government seems to want it to stop.

Our Government could repeal the Health Care Law. It’s a bad law and it was passed against the will of the people. Our Government can show respect to the citizens of the United States by repealing the 1934 NFA, the 1968 GCA, the Hughes Amendment and every other ban on the books. Why? Because most citizens have come to realize the cold truth that a Government that fears an armed citizenry is a government that has done something to justify that fear.

Since Obama came into office, sales of guns, ammunition, components, and the like have gone through the roof. Our Government would do well to listen to the message. America is about to boil over and it’s going to be damned ugly.

For me, I’m going to watch with jaundiced amusement. Our Government is picking this fight. It is a fight that no matter what, they cannot win even if they slaughter every citizen in the country.

Read my tagline... the hammer is dropping fast.

Well sure, that too. Depending on how much the sayer was into the vernacular.

Its evident that you are unable to articulate a point without resorting to puerile namecalling.

Are you really that thick?

You are almost right. I don't have a point to make...to you.

I have no need to make a point to you. You aren't looking for information. You're looking for a quote you can use to demonize people lawfully exercising their second amendment rights.

You've whined that you don't understand why they're doing it, and when it's explained to you, you ask if they're threatening people.

And you haven't liked the answers you've been getting so you keep coming back to see if someone will become a deranged gunslinger like your liberal accomplices fantasize about.

So go away. No one buys your argument that people exercising their sovereign, Constitutionally-protected right is scary or threatening.

You say you don't understand it, yet having it explained to you hasn't enlightened you. So perhaps you should seek enlightenment elsewhere.

Armed? They didn’t bring ammo.

Yes they did.

The pistols are loaded. The rifles are unloaded but the participants have loaded magazines with them.

A good rifleman can insert a mag and drop the bolt faster than most people can get a pistol out of a holster.

How does this make them unarmed?

On the Tax Day Tea Party Rally in Grand Prairie Texas, I took video camera in hand and interviewed attendees. I did this knowing it would counter the media misrepresentaion of the Tea Partiers.

PLEASE FORWARD these links to anyone who has been lied to by the media and politicians about the Tea Party Movement, which of course is everybody.
