He showed a clip on his show that had a number of talking heads yelling in anger and one of them was Keith!

Actually Keith has more in common with Mister Ed.
Specifically, the back end....if you get my drift. :)

Read the first sentence of the story again. It does say why he was angry (i.e., he was angry at being shown as being angry).

Thank you Humbug. And I found it at Yahoo...he included Olbermann as one of the “angry Americans”...and Olbermann took exception it reported.

Well, I can see that. As to any other comparison, I’d say Mr. Ed was far more level-headed and sensible. Funnier, too.

All those stories about Queef’s weird behavior seem more believeable every day. He really is as crazy as everybody says.

I had to bail on the clip. Don't know this "Donny Deutch" but what a frickin pussy--"He's a quality person, why can't you just ignore them and blah blah blah..." I don't care that he's ultimately on the same side as me, what a damned mush. The woman and the bearded guy, too, "They're not part of the media, they're entertainers." If she's a professor or writer (forgot which) she should be fired for not knowing what the word "media" means. I think the top guy was Hugh Hewitt, who I've read but never seen, and he's the only one who had (sorry about the word) a nuanced, nimble mind and could make reality-based judgments on the topic issue. The others are a bunch of "we are the world" wimps who are too scared to say what they really believe.
If we removed the amount of time these big mouths talk about the media, most of the TV stations would be showing sitcom reruns, and maybe ten minutes of news an hour.

angry Americans...?
Overbite is way beyond anger all the way to lunatic....

Kieth who ?
You mean the jock sniffer who used to be on espn ?
I wondered where he had stomped off to.
WOW. Completely predictable though, it’s just a question of what he disagreed with the Mighty 0lbermann about. Well let me tell you, SIR, MSNBC is a joke of a “news” network.
To: BelegStrongbow
True. You didn’t see Mister Ed get mad at anyone or anything. :)

Personally, I think Keith more resembles Marvin the Martian, if we’re considering personality, accuracy and effectiveness.

Olbie probably did Deutsch a favor. The guy will probably land a better gig with another network.

If a tree falls on Keith Olbermann in the forest ... would they have to hire pallbearers or would six humans actually admit that they know him?

A couple of things... First, I’ve certainly gotten people fired for pissing me off at work. It’s one of the perks of seniority and is common in any business. Second, and despite what I just wrote, it sounds like the president of MSNBC is the one who made this decision - what a shock, a business executive who doesn’t want employees criticizing the business on national TV. Third, what does Olberman have to gain by saying he had nothing to do with the firing? Nothing, as far as I can tell. He already has a reputation as being difficult and he certainly seems to say what’s on his mind - so why lie about some fill-in host? I’m afraid I’ll have to side with Olberman on this one.

And I think Deutsch is probably relieved that he don't have to work for people who take advice on how to run things from Olberman.
