Little to correct in you post, philman. But I can condense it to this: "The business of government is to stay OUT of business!"

Too big to fail = Corporate socialism (ie. socialism for the corporations, capitalism for the rest of us, with an extremely 'progressive' income tax). Problem is, capitalism only works if it's for everyone, and everyone plays by the same rules.

Here's my correction: You should say 'dog and pony show', as the 'donkey show' is what you used to see in Tiajuana if you slipped the taxi driver $10.
