“In March 2006, the Pew Hispanic Center calculated the number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. at somewhere between 11.5 million to 12 million.”

...the only way to get rid of them would be at gunpoint...and they will resist at gunpoint.

Yea, this is a great place to come and mooch off the taxpayer whilst taking advantage of all our great freedoms; stuff not available down South...

I’ve heard the number is most likely closer to 30M, but there’s no way to be sure.

Hopefully they all show up in Arizona to protest then we could do a forced march back to Mexico.

They didn't all come in at once, and they don't all need to go out at once. Another post showed that since Arizona started tightening their laws a year ago the number if illegals in Arizona dropped by 20%. And that was just enforcing the laws already on the books, not the new tougher laws.

The very personality that creates an illegal immigrant is the person who will pick up and leave if they find themselves in a disadvantageous situation. After all if they were the deep roots stay put type they would still be in Mexico. If they can't get jobs, can't get welfare, can't get free Obama health-care and are at risk of being deported every time they get stopped for a traffic ticket many, though not all, will go home out of simple frustration. There will be some hard core, but that is a smaller number that will either assimilate over time or be forced out one by one.
