This is unprecedented, so no one can plan for something like this. Primarily do not buy a home near Mill Creek in Davidson County or the Harpeth River in Williamson County. There are plenty of hills and valleys around here, so you can find a house on a hill that will never flood. Just make sure you check if the property is in a flood plain before you buy anything.

Thanks for the info. I can’t take IL anymore. I would like to move by Seiverville. Need a nice reasonably priced house. Any suggestions anyone?
