Actually, the FCC had in the past tried to regulate cable and I think it’s a periodic effort.

I say file the complaint anyway. Post it on a blog.

Believe it or not, I think this is a huge deal. I saw last night a WSJ roundtable (on Fox, I think) about how Obama is degrading the presidency with his personal attacks, etc.

This is quick-soundbyte way of explaining this. This wasn’t a stupid remark on an open mic, this was a prepared remark for an event that would be broadcast on national cable television. An event where bytes are often shown on national TV.

So I think this is a nice shorthand symbolic example of the coarseness of the Obama presidency. No president, not even Nixon, not Andrew Jackson, would curse in public remarks. Never.
