Maybe, but maybe not as well. It was not every day, in 1961, that a very white girl named Stanley had a negro baby. It just wasn't done.

A doctor or midwife would not be liekly to remeber just another out fo wedlock baby born to a girl named Stanley. That’s why I contend the first name Barry received on record was Barry Dunham. Later, it was changed when a willing dupe was confirmed, Barack Obama, sr. [I also believe he was born outside of the U.S., but not in Kenya, but that’s grist for another mill I’m biding my time on.]
