Former Alaska GOP Gov. Sarah Palin's endorsement of Carly Fiorina in California's Senate race has prompted a fervent blowback on her Facebook page, long Palin's safe haven for delivering her message.
The revolt is coming from Palin supporters who also back Chuck DeVore – a tea party favorite who is campaigning against Fiorina in the Republican primary.
Palin’s Facebook page is littered with comments opposing her endorsement of Fiorina, the former CEO of Hewlett Packard.
“The only REAL CONSERVATIVE is Chuck DeVore. Fiorina is a RINO and we don't need any more of those in [California],” one irate commenter wrote. “Why wouldn't you back Chuck DeVore???”
“Sorry Sarah but I think Chuck DeVore is the conservative candidate you should be supporting,” added another, who was followed up by a DeVore supporter who wrote: “I don't agree with this endorsement AT ALL! What are you thinking Sarah?”

This was posted online, its someone that works with Sarah Palin very closely..it gives a better understanding as to why she chose Fiorina..
Here’s what people should keep in mind:
All of this is about November. The governor made a serious and careful decision here. Campbell is a dangerous man, and if we don’t get behind Carly, Campbell will win the nomination. DeVore had plenty of time to gain traction in the polls, but he could never get over 13%. He can’t win, but he can selfishly play the spoiler.
Campbell is seriously frightening. He took donations from a convicted terrorist. He’s rabidly anti-Israel. That’s the only real difference between him and Boxer! I kid you not. Boxer is at least pro-Israel. He’s worst than Boxer and DeVore supporters are throwing the nomination to him. So that’s why this is an important endorsement and an important race. You want to condemn Sarah Palin for endorsing a conservative who can beat Barbara Boxer instead of sitting it out and watching a dangerous RINO win the nomination? Go ahead, but don’t whine about six more years of Boxer or six years of someone worse than Boxer.
She is wrong here...and that makes her a Republican instead of a Conservative.
That depends on how the FEC investigation of DeVores campaign turns out.

What’s even more sad is that so many people, including freepers have elevated Palin to be the Obama on the right. She’s the Seinfeld of the political right as Obama is the seinfeld of the political left. Problems is there are more dupes who support Obama than Palin. The Republican party has NO ONE that can save it because the majority of politicians are crooked and the majority of the voting public has been brain washed to think Big Daddy Government is the answer to everything.
Devore has a zero chance. Why endorse him?

DeVore is sinking into spoiler territory. Now the race is between Campbell and Fiorina. Which do you want among that pair? DeVore and Fiorina are appealing to the same groups and in the end DeVore doesn't have the finances or personnel to win in California with less than 30 days to go. Its over and Palin is telling him to step out so Campbell can be blocked.
I’d like to know why she supports McLame over Hayworth and Fiona over DeVore.
So, here we are, wondering about Palin, where if she hadn’t made these choices, it wouldn’t even be a topic.
I like Chuck DeVore, but hearing his spokespeople call her a “Sheepdog” was out of line and something liberals would do, trash people. They call her a sheepdog and poo poo her endorsement of Fiorina yet DeVore was in Searchlight, Nevada trying to get an endorsement from her. People can disagree all they want with her endorsement, but how DeVore’s people reacted was wrong and childish. I am used to seeing that kind of garbage from liberals, not from Conservatives. Even JD Hayworth(Who I think is AMAZING) had enough class not to trash her, shows what kind of man he is.
Because apparently pursuing lost causes is the only relevant characteristic of conservatism, according to some FReepers.
So, what is the justification for choosing McAmnesty over Hayworth?
She could not diss McCain who picked her as VP candidate a year before. And DeVore cannot win.
They should have called her a rhinoceros. That would at least have been accurate.
You are right. Who else would still want Duncan Hunter in 2012? There is a time to be practical.
