Last month I was out shopping with my mother in Phoenix, when a man came up to her and yelled, “Your husband needs to be more conservative!” before storming off. Believe it or not, nothing like this has ever really happened to me before. Sure, there have been times when I’ve been at rallies or speeches and people have made rude comments—that comes with the territory when you are in a public family—but this particular incident felt really shocking and disappointing. It was a direct slap in the face—a sign of how high the level of rancor has gotten that this man felt compelled to yell at my mother and me at the mall.
Lately I’ve felt that the anger in politics is spilling over from the expected places—protests, partisan websites, talk radio—into everyday lives. The lines of social acceptability and just plain courteous behavior are becoming harder to define when it comes to politics, and for the first time in a long time I am truly concerned about where this fear and frustration in politics is taking us.

Why should we believe this even happened? Any proof? Did anyone record it with their telephone camera? If not, it didn’t happen. Someone or the other records everything that actually happens these days.
Meghan McCain needs to understand her own words, "for the good of the country". So far, Obama has done a few things that did no harm to America - choosing a dog comes to mind - and a long list of obviously evil and destructive actions that inflicted exceptionally grave damage well beyond the $1.7T in government waste that he passes on to our children as debt each year. Obama and Pelosi don't work for the good of the country and don't want to. To compromise with them and work with them is to try to water down the damage and destroy our country a little more slowly that the regime would prefer. No, thank you. I'll stick with those who see bipartisanship as a situation in which the Dems join conservatives in making America better, not one in which real Americans are supposed to be complicit in our own destruction.

Upon further consideration I am sure she mis-heard the person yelling at her father. That person probably said “You need to get your ass kicked by a conservative”.

Don’t even get me started about how John threw the 2008 election just for fun and allowed the worst president in our 237 year history into the office.
He did it because he didn’t want to “win this way”. What the hell does that mean? He didn’t want the country to know about Rev. Wright? Why shouldn’t they know about him, he’s a 20 year part of the lovely Obama’s history of hating white people.
