The talking head National Socialists will be positively apoplectic about this over the next few days.

In my opinion more blood will be spilled because of Obama than should be. That’s just my opinion but I think I am correct on this matter.

"Has the sleeping giant awakened to this lunacy? "

That would be the answer to my prayers. I don't hold out much hope but you never know. Maybe I'm a sucker for lost causes. I hope I'm not.

"I felt like some of these students lost their chance at success when they were pulled in and ‘taught’ resentment and grievance."

Your assessment was correct. Felt or feelings should only be used at weddings or funerals however and I never attend either.

They should also look at American Studies in American universities. The only “Bla-bla-bla” Studies where the professors actually hate the subject. In African Studies, Asian Studies, Environmental Studies, and so on, the professors love their subject. Not ‘American’ Studies.

Actually, there are other arenas where ‘felt’ and ‘feelings’ should be used outside of weddings and funerals.
I worked in publishing for about 20 years. Much of our daily work entailed vigorously debating what words mean, how others will interpret them and what impression the overall body of text leaves.
Debating others when your position is not based on fact but on your own beliefs or ideology would normally entail using the words ‘I believe....’ This, however, would often backfire. I could use the word ‘believe’ as long as I didn’t really want to win the debate; otherwise, I should plan on using the word ‘feel’ or ‘felt’.
In the dance of conference room debate, vigorously debating from the stand point of belief would all-too-frequently result in the other debater affecting a wilting, oppressed posture as if failing under the onslaught of tireless ideology. So, I adopted their terminology and they often felt much more ‘comfortable’ speaking in terms of ‘feelings’ because those are wispy, gentle, ephemeral things unlike those nasty fence-post like beliefs that one can bark one’s shins upon.
Your brisk correction is a helpful reminder that I may encounter language instruction elsewhere as well and would do well to choose my dialect based on the locale more precisely.

Congratulations, Jan Brewer!

Man, is it ever refreshing to see (finally!) Republicans who refuse to run like scared bunny rabbits from the dying Democrat “mainstream” newsrooms. Sure, there’s still a few of those cowards around, but they are slowly but surely getting flushed down the toilet like scoured bowl stains.

I thought that I heard he was running for gov. But I agree, he’s much more useful as Sheriff - and the gov in AZ is doing JUST FINE.

The Communist Party of the United States would be deeply saddened since our schools are one of their major weapons against this Nation.

Let’s get this reformation/restoration done, and get back to our founding principles of self-reliance, patriotism, and limited government. Yes!

Amen to that!
