The Times and other sources label these photos with what obama’s handlers provide them. I am surprised any school yearbook showing him is still on any shelf. We have some seen some pretty obvious photoshops in various discussions.
At least his head is the same size as the rest of the group in this picture.
This implies he was sent back from Indonesa at age 10 and was immediately enrolled in Punahou.
As far as Punahou preppies dressing “local”- not likely unless it was “dress like a local day”, or their florals came from Abercrombie Fitch, not Hilo Hattie. The kind of parents fightitng to get their kids into Punahou - not likely to be impressed with da kine.
Punahou is an extremely “classist” school - still is. zerO got in because his grandma pulled strings among her banker friends and played the “African” card.
I lived in the Islands and got a dose of the culture and how it is stratified by the locals-

Regarding the pic in #14, I wonder if anybody has tried contacting any of the other kids in the picture? The teacher, too.
