Aw man, you don't know what you're missing. This show is the definition of a classic. Just excellent programming.

I saw an article, ages ago, with some miserable lefty complaining about how the show should’ve basically been about nothing but evil America, corporatism, social injustice, etc. The usual stuff. But growing up in those days, I thought The Wonder Years showed what it was really like at home with all that stuff going on. Truth is, most people had ordinary lives but were touched at times by the events of those days, but more by the events of being a kid and growing up in a neighborhood.

A lot of lefties aren’t happy unless they’re miserable...

Often "King of the Hill" resembled an animated "Wonder Years" in its poignancy.
