Really?

I wonder why they didn’t have Congress pay for your texts?

OMG its a website about cutting costs!

I’m glad we figured that one out.

Cantor is a possible new face who can help the GOP. He may be a viable presidential candidate in the very nera future.

I wish him well. He is a good conservative.

I'm not "poo-pooing' it, merely stating what it is.
Do alert me when Cantor sponsors significant bills to reduce waste and cut spending.
FYI; I used to reside in Cantor's district, (now in that of Randy Forbes), so I am pretty informed as to what he is, and that would be a good congressman, yet still a bullshiter.

Obamacare - repeal
Social Security - phase out, but grandfather in everyone over 50
Medicare - phase out, but grandfather in everyone over 50
Medicaid - phase out, but grandfather in everyone who’s not a paraplegic

Hope you emailed that to Cantor, or your Representative or Senator.
Your wish may happen anyway because of the Healthcare Bill passed by all Democrats, Stupak aside, because the Government does not have any money.

Yes, I heard about this YouCut project. Pretty creative idea by Cantor and the House Republicans.

Still a long way to go, but look for Cantor to be in the mix of names for the next Speaker if the GOP takes over the House after the November elections.

Pretty creative idea by Cantor and the House Republicans.

I wasn't impressed.

The whole thing reminds me of those "voter surveys" I get from the RNC. Wow! We can "vote" to cut 600 million. These guys are throwing around trillions now and this jerk is a hero for going after small fractions of a percent of it. How about HEW IN HALF TOMORROW? ALL BUDGETS IN HALF, INCLUDING SOCIAL SECURITY AND MEDICARE. EITHER FIRE EMPLOYEES OR CUT "BENEFITS."

Didn’t realize that the spending “cuts” that Cantor is talking about are so trivial in size. Perhaps we should call his office and let him know that we want much greater cuts to include Social Security and Medicare.

I’d like to see Boehner challenged. 18 months ago few could imagine his milqtoastyness becoming Speaker. But I wonder if anyone will.

This is a bad gimmick.

Don’t get me wrong, some gimmicktry is good to make a point. This is bad because he selects the talking points and then you decide which one to cut? How about all of them? And more?

A much better gimmick would be for him (and the GOP) to publish the whole budget, line by line or agency by agency (and/or with sub-agency or special projects as sub line items), and let the people decide how much we should allocate given the total amount of money we have to spend. No going over!

Cantor indicated the site changes each week with a new set to check.
You can also send suggestions to Cantor’s website. He invites suggestions.
