“she”is one fugly looking “woman”..wonder if she had the big switcho changeo surgery? Coyote ugly...seems inside and out.
Wow! Was that before or after Lincoln? J/K
>>> Presidential elections have consequences. Longlasting ones.
Maybe not this time... even if she gets in. (and she probably will)
Heads up, you know what to do.
2 GOP senators praise Kagan
after meetings on Hill
Returning to Capitol Hill for a second day Thursday, Elena Kagan drew praise from two Republicans who could eventually support her nomination to the Supreme Court: Sens. Susan Collins (Maine) and Scott Brown (Mass.). Collins, after an hour-long meeting with Kagan, declared herself “very impressed” and said she saw little reason for the GOP to consider a filibuster. She rejected the complaint by some Republicans that Kagan is not qualified because she has never served as a judge.

Had to look this one up:

Two Manchurian candidates incubated in the petri dish.
So you’re pretty much unstable and swing from extremes?
“I was always a republican. Just not always the most conservative one until I was 21.”
Just curious...were your parents conservative when you were growing up? We home-school our kids, 12 & 10, and we talk politics with them, or at least in front of them every day. They understand what the role of government should be better than most adults. My parents were the opposite. Both government bureaucrats. Politics were never discussed in my house, but I knew they loved the government. They’ve changed in the past few years. They both hate Obama.
The story is a sad but also a chastening one for those who, more than half a century after socialism's decline, still wish to change America. That sentence should be enough to sink Kagan.
It would be interesting to find out more about her "radical" brother Marc Kagan who "clarified" her own political ideas? He reportedly was a transit worker and union reformer in Transport Workers Local 100, and was also Local 100 leader Roger Toussaint's top aides until the two had a falling out in 2003. |
Who are the senators up for election and sit on the judicial review committee?
I think they feel too much job security.
“You were young and impressionable. I suppose life, death and taxes made a quick convert out of you. :o)”
You forgot...”and you needed the money.”
I became a diehard conservative the day I started my business. I’ve been an employer ever since, and I’m still fighting the government.
good one!
Neither have I. Always knew that as bad as the republicans were, the democrats were worse.
Good for you.
They both claimed to be conservative but I never knew who they voted for, or if they did at all.
It isn’t that hard to figure out the homos in the military problem. Homosexuality still isn’t widely accepted, it’s flaunted but I don’t think the majority of people think it’s ok. Most parents don’t.
The possibility of blackmailing a homo is there and we can’t afford to open up our military knowledge to that threat.
Thanks for the information and the links.
Time to get to work on stopping this socialistic nominee.
