They're probably trying to hide his involvement in the pro-Soviet, communist-led "no nukes", disarmament movement. And perhaps his involvement in the Black Liberation movement out of the nearby Union Theological Seminary. The UTS is sandwiched between Riverside Church (where the KGB front, Institute for Policy Studies, based their "no nukes" mass rallies), and Columbia University. Obama, however, may not have 'technically' attended Columbia University, but rather Columbia College, an undergrad part of Columbia University located within the CU campus.

However, you make the assumption that the CIA is all one pro freedom organization. It is not. It is riddled with communists and, in fact, the left has dominated the agency for a long time. The CIA “missed” the economic hammer Reagan was putting on the Soviet Union and bad mouthed Reagan’s Soviet policy as “stupid and dangerous.” They never acknowledged it was breaking the economic back of the Soviet Union. They spent the entire time Bush was in office undermining his foreign policy as well. They are quiet as a mouse on Obama’s background...
After the fact (with the Soviets collapsed), everyone wondered “how could the CIA have missed the falling of the Soviet Empire”? They did not miss it. They were trying to derail Reagan by offering up only bad news on his politically incorrect “evil empire” strategy. They were trying to rescue the Soviet Union.
Obama could easily have been anti-American, pro communist and have been an agent of the CIA.
You’re implying that O attended Columbia College, some sort of extension campus for those that couldn’t make the cut for Columbia University, yet he had no problems going from their and getting accepted by Harvard Law School. His past doesn’t past the smell test. Even Michelle agree he still stinks!
