'social justice' is equivalent to WWJD question. ...they consider it their religious duty to work for and support ANY democrat candidate on a political ballot.

How do they reconcile the Dems' pro-abortion position with their WWJD "religious duty"?

There is no one set answer. The 'protestants' that vote democrat dance around the flag pole claiming to be 'pro-life', but it is not their issue. The majority of them have first and foremost on their minds of being at the front of the line when the 'rapture' happens. And they just know they won't have to face that bloody tribulation that they believe is going to take place once they get their boarding pass. And God sure needs their help spreading the word to get the luggage packed, because they are ready to leave any day now.

The Catholics consider abortion to fit in that massive 'gray' area to be sorted out at some future date. They are all about 'social justice' and varying degrees of sin, which can all be erased on any given day of the week by going to confession.

As I said, it varies depending on how the question is framed, as they will stand up for their 'pro-choice' tax and spend liberal politician as much and even more than they will for their preacher or priest.

Personally, I think liberals have taken over the seminaries and the majority of preachers/priest have drunk the cup of social justice. The pure unadulterated hate for all things George W. Bush was as if he were the devil himself, while they could have cared less what the character of old BJClinton and his Mrs. possessed.

I remember one such church goer being all embarrassed by the lack of speaking ability of President Bush, and thought Algore was a better worldly representative of US...

These days I avoid the subject like the plague, and figure they will have to learn the hard way.
