Not to be distracted by financial insolvency Portugal finds time to address gay marriage. Talk about a country with misplaced priorities!

Portugal's conservative president announced Monday he is ratifying a law allowing gay marriage in the predominantly Catholic country. And this almost immediately after the Holy Father's visit to his country.

Portugal has been voting socialist for a long time. It’s the same thing all over. It is like the Democrats over here, they give people stuff to get their loyalty and votes and at the same time they are sneaking in the radical social agenda. This is a world wide movement. Whatever happens in one country soon spreads to other countries. See how our Dems hero worship the Euro socialists. They want to be just like them.

Indeed. Does Portugal seriously want to end up like the other countries that have legalized same-sex marriage?

There goes Portugal? America is teetering on the edge herself. It’s almost as though the entire world is turning into Sodom and Gomorrah...

Put lipstick on a lib and it’s still a lib.....but don’t ever think you’re fooling us by calling it a conservative!

Its almost as though the entire world is turning into Sodom and Gomorrah... And the end will be that same. Fire and brimstone.
Get your hearts right with Jesus folks, the ride is going to get very bumpy for those who are left behind.

So one of the PIGS shows us one of the reasons why theyve come to fail. All the bailout money in the world (and then some) can't fix that.
I do think that term "PIIGS" is malevolent, nonetheless.

P stands for Portugal I stands for Ireland and Italy
G stands for Greece and S stands for Spain
PIGS is the term being used in the financial circls about the potential collapse.

I would not be surprised if the two are related. They may be succumbing to pressure to follow lock step with the european culture of death to increase their chances of acquiring a bailout in the immediate future.
