Six experts affiliated with the United Nations' Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights released a scathing statement condemning Arizona's new immigration law as a likely violation of international human-rights accords.

The more the world bitches about this, the more convinced I become that arizona is doing the right thing (not that I ever needed a bit of convincing in all actuality) When the UN takes a position, I know beyond any doubt that we’re right.
Good information, even if depressing!
Yeah - even as we spend millions to maintain and refurbish that building on prime Manhatten real estate!
I can’t think of one either. I think the last American politician who seriously wanted make the U.N. accountable for its escapades was Barry Goldwater.
Good post - a picture worth a thousand words!
The only consistent thing there is inconsistency - the recent Oil-for-Food scam was the biggest financial swindle in a century!
We have, and are, enduring a lot in this country. UN or NATO troops will just be a bridge too far. It is only UN rhetoric today but it is not that far fetched to think that “peace keepers” will be in our future. Especially with a President who seems to revel in race-baiting.
They never demand that any other country live up to the standards they demand of the U.S. Never! Not on human rights, not on economic help for others, not on domestic law, not on the environment, nothing. Forget that!
Absolutely - but I don’t think we should even dignify those clowns with an answer for what we democratically choose to do in the United States. That collection of failed states can attend to their own G.D. affairs!
My words to the UN: GO POUND SAND!!
I don’t think that’s a stretch either. As Rush says, Obama is a divider not a uniter. He plays the race card more skillfully and subtly than Sharpton and Jackson but he’s a member of the same club.
vaudine
At the rate Obama is pissing away our money even the Chinese are thinking of no longer buying our treasuries! They’re smart. They don’t want to lend to a country ready to go Chapter 11!
Ditto!
I saw that - and that UN apologist blabbered on in a filibuster that was worse than Chris Matthews! They should indeed have cut his mike.
“It is clearly a violation of the U.N. Charter on the Rights of North American Mobile Labor Units for said migrant units to be subjected to inhumane conditions while they travel. Arizona must provide migrants with. at a minimum, climate mitigating transport and acceptable native style meals, and this without brutalizing them by privacy invading interrogations”.
Well said! In the spirit of Ronald Reagan!
We should probably ask the UN what it doesn’t understand about the word “ILLEGAL.” And, while we’re at it, perhaps we should tell them if they’re so concerned about the situation they can take a deduction in American UN contributions for the ever-increasing taxes Americans are paying for bankrupt public school districts, prison incarceration, insolvent hospitals, social welfare services, and the ravages of the drug cartel.
Here in Florida we’re Open Carry too. If they don’t want to go to Phoenix their research team can visit the Sunshine State and do some investigating.
