Fine with me. When I became disabled, I cut out a lot of luxury spending, and maybe what some people might consider necessary spending. I’ve actually lived pretty well on a lot less. So maybe I won’t go back to work. After all, Obama has determined I make too much. So I won’t work and I won’t spend. If more and more people do as that businessman is doing, let’s watch the economy tank. Hell, we might as well let it tank; it’s about to go there anyway. And who knows...maybe once the economy collapses altogether, the Obama true believers might actually be shaken out of their stupor.

I wish I was as optimistic as you are about them being shaken out of their stupor. Now if you either take away the TV or have the electricity go out. That might do it. Probably not though.
I expect that they will just sit still until FEMA shows up with bottled water and ice. :-)
