This has to be cloak-and-dagger for the time being, because though we’ve not been sworn to secrecy on the project, we’re not at liberty to talk in depth about what we did yesterday, which was in response to one of the occasional requests we get from members of the media for background info on stories they’re doing.
Normally, it’s foreign journalists who get in touch with us when they’re in Chicago and want to go to the Southside to see how terrible it is, and talk about how Obama did absolutely jack squat for it as either a state senator or US Senator, and hasn’t used any of his particular brand of unicorn horn magic to improve it (or the black community residing there) since the illustrious Golden Age of Hope and Change began on January 20th, 2009.
But, this time it was a US reporter who wanted information on Man’s Country in Andersonville, which is a place both Obama and Rahm Emanuel frequented in the past. Obama until 2002 or so, and Emanuel through 2008, according to what we’ve been told. We spent a good amount of time on the ground in Uptown, Boystown, Andersonville, and Hyde Park yesterday with this reporter, also telling him everything we knew about Trinity United Church of Christ and the Down-Low Club it operated under Jeremiah Wright’s supervision/matchmaking.

I have noticed the term “Down Low” is now being used in main stream talk shows like Opra and the View in reference to heterosexual activity. Looks like an intentional attempt to change the meaning of the phrase.
Oh, and Oprah has been on d-low for years. ;)

I’ve hated it in the past when my fellow FReepers (some, not all of them) try to dismiss these guys just because they happen to be gay. It’s a shame and it diminishes us as conservatives.
They are among the most patriotic human beings I’ve ever known. Being in Chicago, they sounded the alarm in 2008, as the Dems handed the nomination over to BHO. They haven’t stopped warning us, since. And from the day BHO was nominated, until this very minute, they are doing all they can to blunt his influence and stall or end his policies. Even when it means they are attacked online or in their own neighborhoods in person. C4P has added Hillbuzz as one of their contributors, btw.
Rush, Coulter, Dennis Miller, etc. have all become huge Hillbuzz fans. Rush follows the site religiously.
And they are so disgusted with the current Democratic party, they don’t even pretend to be part of it anymore. Instead, they are committed to the complete destruction of the Democratic party, as of Christmas Eve, 2009.
Wait, misunderstood. They’re using it for heterosexuals? Then they’re just dumb and don’t know the real meaning. They’re taking it to mean ‘hush hush’, which it does, but its not about having an affair... its about engaging in homosexual acts.
I, too, have a growing respect for the site. One of the most intelligent politically oriented sites around.
I never paid attention to the Kal Penn story but really...just why did he get that job? This makes sense:

Yes. I can’t remember the exact incident I was referring to, but it was so obvious, I pointed it out to my wife. It was in reference to a hetrosexual affair not a homosexual affair and the use seemed intentional to me. But what do I know? I’m still having trouble with the bullet found on the stretcher.

I am a ten year plus FReeper, and a looong time Buzzer (we don’t have ‘born on dates” @ WPress blogs).
Their writing is so awesome...snarky, well researched, and you feel like you have had a conversation, no read an article.
Nothing gets me angrier than the “but they are Gay!!!” Comments here. They are as Patriotic and sincere in their love and fears for this Country as anyone I have ever met.
Again, we tease over there, that the Boyz have too many big sisters; moms; and grandmas fretting over them...but they are sincerely loved (and touched) by the prayers sent their way.
Haven’t we all kind felt “something” was going to break with this bunch? I thought it would come from Blago (maybe it still wiil). But the Chicago is turning “circular.”
In case it rains Memorial Day weekend (and I hope it doesn’t) in your neck of the woods, and your outdoor plans are ruined, an idea:
Go to the Hillbuzz site and read their archives. They begin in winter/spring of 2008. Don’t bother with the comments, just read their posts. It is the most amazing metamorphosis you will ever see.
Right before your eyes, you will be able to see a bunch a Dems have their “come to Jesus” moment, politically. From supporting McCain/Palin in order to flip off Obama. To seeing what BHO was intending to do to America, dragging all the old Chicago tricks with him. So many of us are fearful, because of our children; but these guys will never have children, and they know it. Nevertheless, they fight on, for love of country. It’s actually touching, in that way.
I can put aside what they do in their spare time. It’s not my business.
And this is truly no time for us to pick out which soldiers will and will not be allowed on our side.
I don’t care if you’re black, white, fat, short, skinny, tall, or a three headed dwarf with a limp. For these times, we are going to need ALL HANDS ON DECK.
Or, we’ll end up with hands around our necks.
