My friend’s wife is an RN and she says......
Plastic container with a lid....empty Cool Whip thing.
Toss in the pilss, open and dump in any capsules. Dump in wet coffee grounds. Stir well. put the lid on and seal with tape. Let this sit for a day before tossing it into the trash.
The grounds will neutralize anything. Don’t flush drugs down the toilet.

We usually tell them zip lock bag with a splash of bleach.
