The riser is the pipe from the well head to the rig. They were able to get a tool into the broken off riser pipe and divert oil to the rig and into a tanker. So it looks like they are getting about half the oil picked up this way.

BP said the maximum amount of barrels they have been able to siphon from leak was 5000 barrels a day.
Now today this guy said they were siphoning over 22,000 barrels per day off the smaller leak on the riser?
SOMETHING IS REAL FISHY! AND IT STINKS!
and the OFFICIAL FINAL Estimated leak rate put out today was 12,000 to 19,000 barrels per day from the Obama/BP scientists?
