Rep. Joe Sestak (D-Pa.) said Thursday that his brother has spoken with White House officials about the congressman's allegation that he was offered an Obama administration job if he would stay out of a Democratic Senate primary.
Sestak ran in, and won, that primary, defeating the White House's preferred candidate, Sen. Arlen Specter.
He told reporters Thursday that he would not expand upon his prior statements until the White House releases its report on the matter. President Obama said in his news conference that such a report would come "shortly."
Richard Sestak, the congressman's brother, who has served as his top political adviser and campaign lawyer, spoke with administration officials Wednesday, Joe Sestak said.
"They got a hold of my brother on his cell phone, and he spoke to the White House . . . about what's going to occur," said Sestak, who said he expects the White House will release its information Friday. He declined to elaborate on his discussions with Richard.

If doesn’t say that he may be risking prison for not properly reporting it. Also, who knows what the White House will offer him if he just says I was “mistaken”.

Sestak has his nerve for waiting on the WH. I hope he learns he’s been played for a fool and will now find himself immersed in a “cover-up scheme” of serious criminal potential and finality.
He thinks he holds the cards, but he should have been forthcoming from the start. Un;ess, of course, he thinks that he will be rewarded for lying. That might hold true temporarily, but he will always be viewed as one who could “leak” at whim, so he will have to spend the rest of his life looking over his shoulder.
Surprising to say the least, but even Politico is jumping hard on this, on the heels of Peggy Noonan, who is finally partially out of her haze.
Sestak has stepped in it .. BIG time.

I sure hope they haven’t got to him. He was thrown under the bus head first. A fierce grudge can be a good thing.
Before you feel sorry for Sestak you had better check his last few years in the Navy. The guy is unstable.
