If he switched parties, he’d probably have a better chance.

I’m surprised it is still necessary to highlight *the first black (fill in the blank)*

No! No! No! Arthur Davis is NOT the right man for the Governor's office and its not because he is black!
From what I've read about his record, he is a HUGE, HUGE LIBERAL!
The Libs have controlled our state government since at least the days of Reconstruction. I'd love to see every last one of them kicked out of office!

I am from Al. Every poll has Artur well behind all of the republicans running in the republican primary. When Artur announced , he said he was going to be the Obama of Alabama. I thought , good luck with that. McCain carried 60% of the state.
I would also like to note that Alabama is made fun of for being a state full of stupid hillbillies. Atleast we didn't drink the Obama koolaid like most of other "smart" states.

I fail to understand how any candidate who is better funded, can have a better chance of being elected. I am a conservative, and a left winger can spend a trillion dollars campainging; he can show me a thousand clips, billboards, etc. and I still will never vote for him. How stupid can some people be to fall for such crap?

I am from Alabama also. While it is good to see the Davis running behind in the polls I simply don’t trust them.
