Will a thunderstorm force the cancellation of Obama's Memorial Day speech at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois? C-SPAN just lost their signal as Obama took the stage amid thunderous lightning and pouring rain.

That was beautiful! Thanks for the link. I sent it to my family. My dad was stationed in Hawaii and we all lived there from 58-61. It has some special memories for us. (Yes, I actually was born at Tripler - & have the paperwork to prove it!) :)
Obama is not worthy to be at any national cemetery, so I’ve no problem with his not being at Arlington.
He claimed Iraq and Afghanistan to be misadventures, mistakes of the Bush Admin, sending the clear message that those men had died in vain, and sending a message of hopelessness and pain to the suffering families. If he had believed that, I would have considered him cruel and wrong. If he did not believe it, but was just posturing for political purposes, he would be cruel, wrong, and evil
As it is, he did not get out of Iraq and Afghanistan as he indicated he would.
That means that he was on the political posturing side of the equation.
No one who crawls to political power over the bodies of our wartime dead is fit for entry to any of our hallowed, military cemeteries.
Obama stay away. You are not worthy.
