Strategic ties between Jerusalem and Washington are slowly changing, Mossad chief Meir Dagan told the Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee on Tuesday.
"Bit by bit Israel is turning into more of a burden than asset for the US," Dagan said in his meeting with committee.
The Mossad chief indicated as well that the US views the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a lower priority after determining that neither side is ready for an agreement.

I would add that this specifically refers to the time that the nations gather themselves together against Jerusalem.

I wonder why he got this backward. The US has been a burden to Israel every time we have had a leftist leader who wanted to make nice with the muslims and give away more of Israel.
I’m not Jewish or even particularly interested in their loony support of the left, who keep putting the boots to them, but it disturbs me that they can’t seem to identify their enemies.
It disturbs and angers me that 53% of voters in this country won't, can't, didn't identify Obama as an enemy of the USA.
