Keenon Aampay Hall, who was voted Teacher of the Year at in Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia, has resigned after admittedly having a sexual relationship with a 17 year old student.
The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports that records show the 29-year old English came to her for help with his homework.
An investigative file shows the student, who is a graduating senior and popular football player, said that Keenon Aampay Hall gave him gifts and pressured him to get her pregnant. When he initially turned down her advances, the student's family says Hall failed him, which prompted him to report the relationship to officials.

What is with these teachers thinking it is appropriate to have a sexual relationship with their students? As teachers they should certainly be trained in self control, and they serve to set examples for the rest of the students.

Not exactly my type of woman, but I’d need a full body photo to really determine if she is guilty or not. I’d hate to pass judgement without enough facts.

At my high school there were only pumas they would have been guilty and the kids would be guilty of being stupid if they took the puma in.

Right. At first I thought that English referred to what the “29-year” old high school student was studying. He’s 29 years old and is still in high school - and playing football?
Meh... the whole “Sex for Grades” thing sounds a little contrived to me. There are way too many “star” athletes who get their way in high school and have their academic shortcomings overlooked by a good deal of the faculty and staff... especially if it’s a small town. I know that there has been a lot of these scandals in the news lately... So, someone, somewhere, is bound to make a false claim eventually.
