O'Reilly today talked about the incident, but failed to mention most of the details... like: ships were warned before boarding, ships are routinely checked and unloaded under supervision, the Free Gaza people warned in advance that they would be testing the blockade, etc.

Listening to BOR one would think that just out of the blue Israel decided to storm an aid ship and people got killed.

You're absolutly correct. This was a NATO Blockade.

The Isralies had asked them to port at other places so they could search the ships. (These ships have had a history of carrying arms for Hammas.) The floatilla ran the blockade. Israel did the next logical step.
