Facts don’t mean nothing during a good ole “Bush is stupid” joke by a Liberal idiot. And to think that I used to boast about Paul’s birthday being next to mine.

Gene Simmons can't read music and I know a guy who is a professional Percussionist who has played with Diana Ross and Toto. He can't read music either.
Saw Gene Simmons at the opening of the NAMM Show in Anaheim last year. He was talking to the Retailers and said, hell I can't even read music and I'm a Millionaire! He cracked up the crowd.

After the last eight years, its great to have a president who knows what a library is, McCartney quipped at the end of a star-studded ceremony in the White House East Room where he picked up the Gershwin Prize for Popular Song ...Sir Paul, so gracious. Get your ass back across the pond and don't bother returning.

Stay classy, Paul.
We always thought the music you wrote on your own reflected a giant intellect
We suggest you permanently dedicate “Fool on a Hill” to your man-love Barry

Better yet “Shut up and don’t sing”
“Sir” Paul, you aren’t even close to Gershwin.

If you were from that era, you don’t seem to know much.....everyone knew what was said, who said it, how it was misquoted etc....
From that era, I have to wonder about that statement.

Why is an American institution awarding a prize named for an American composer to someone who's not an American? Not surprising...an American presidency was awarded to someone who's not an American... (not a natural born one anyway)

As a long time Beatle fan (since 1976) and as a fan who heard the music everyday until about 2000, Paul I just want to say this to you: F. U.

Well, yeah, Paul, Barry knows what a library is. I’m not sure what good that does when the only thing he reads is his own stuff.

Hey, give the man a break.
AFter all, everyone does it.
Remember those WH galas during the Reagan/Bush years when the entertainment ruthlessly mocked Jimmy Carter and Bill Clinton?
No, I don't either.

This entire story sickens me.
Can anyone, ANYONE cite another time where foreign citizens were invited into the White House and stood there insulting Americans while the President of the United States stood there and said NOTHING?
I realize that Bush bashing has become quite the sport with many, but there is nothing good in this country right now. Foreigners are attacking former presidents while in our white house.
What an absolute disgrace.

“The Beatles: The most overrated anything in the history of history.”
I certainly agree with that!
(although I DO like several Beatles songs-but-by no means-ALL!)
After this event with McCartney - I don't know if I'll EVER listen to the great ‘Beatles’ again!
