If it wasn’t for the brave men who were at the D-Day invasion (or any other veteran for that matter) then this person couldn’t attend a party. I respect and honor those who served our country and the service they provided. I think a country that forgets its past (and with honor) is doomed. I also would add a country that doesn’t honor/respect its veterans loses so much identity and pride.
