And Turkey slides deeper into the abyss of Islam bereft of modernity.

I hope this isn’t a stupid question, as I regard the man as heroic, but why couldn’t he pick his own driver, maybe a Catholic one?

I imagine he could have had a known Catholic driver but probably decided to trust Turkish authorities in providing one.
Apparently they had their eye on him; to their credit.

fatwa promulgated by 7,300 Moroccan Muslim doctors who recently declared that Christian charity ought to be considered religious terrorism.
I’ve heard it all now.
To: Dr. Sivana
Yeah, why didn’t he fire the suspected driver I wonder?
(May God bless him. He is a martyr who desires our respect.)

It would not surprise me at all to learn that the Turkish authorities knew that the driver they assigned was a Muslim, not a Catholic — and that the driver was a mole for the Turkish government, reporting every word and every movement.

NTV added that Altun shouted Allahu Akbar a number of times after the murder, despite having presented himself as a Catholic.<<<<
There is no limit to their intent and actions.

Altun was, presumably, a Moose... how does a bishop end up getting stuck with a guy like that?

They need to be careful up there in Vatican Land. Moose can and do go under false flags for literally murderous purposes. It’s part of their religion (when we take a look at the previous pope kissing a Koran, I hope we keep that in mind).

"7,300 Moroccan Muslim doctors who recently declared that Christian charity ought to be considered religious terrorism." This sure jumped out at me.
They hijacked the word "martyr," changing it from "an innocent person killed for peacefully professing their faith," to "a terrorist who dies while in the act of assassinating others."
Now they've re-defined "religious terrorism" as "a Christian person giving food to the hungry, drink tpo the thirsty, medical care to the sick."
A dear friend at my parish, who often gives me a ride to and from Mass, has a Muslim cardiologist. I honestly worry about this. Islam --- fully developed --- is the systematic perversion of all good things, and the systematic false sanctification of evil.
