The world-wide LEFT has NOT forgiven the USA for its role in the collapse of the leftest Soviet Union, which fuels even and especially the American leftists.
The list of “heroes” of the left contain the many, many tyrants, dictators and tyrannical governments of the entire world. Oppression of women, cruelty to children, suppression of human rights, imprisonment, slavery, politically caused famine and other human tragedies are of no concern to the left when brought on by “enemies” of either the USA or Israel.
What matters is adherence to political doctrine and a professed hatred for the two countries that practice actual freedom for their people and stand up for themselves.
Even, and especially the American left, from the media to the halls of academe, embrace any and all hateful critics of their own country. They will, without pause, bring up and condemn the slavery that ended 140 years ago in the USA, yet remain “proudly” silent of human slavery and oppression that occurs THIS VERY DAY.

I thought that that ideal viewpoint - stay in the middle of the road and always pick what’s just and true - was nonexistent, but she sounds like a flesh and blood example of just that.
The left are absolutely convinced:
1) The USA is the source of ALL problems in the world
2) Redistribute(what’s left) of the US wealth and there will be world wide utopia
3) Israel is a mistake of history
4) A dictator/state knows best rather than the individual
5) People are essentially good and they will always do the ‘right thing’ when it comes to governing
6) All of Islams issues are because of ‘corrupt’ Western Civilization.
Where were you and Israel when Clinton illegally bombed buses, trains, schools, residential buildings and homes in Serbia? Where were you and Israel when millions where being slaughtered in Rwanda?
