Scuba tanks....or a mile long snorkel. :]

One assumes they would position it and not drop it.

But I don’t think it would be a good solution.....

It is proposed to be "modified." At 5000 depth I don't see how because FAE uses dispersion to atomize the fuel to make it into an explosive.

Of course, the actual effects (if it could actually detonate) are totally unknown.

I have also noticed the drop-off in reporting how much oil is being recovered By BP. This tells me it is probably most of it. So why are we hearing about crazy plans to bomb the wellhead?

Either Franz wants to get his name in the news or he said this long before BP got the recovery process running.

It’s not fuel air, it’s just a big ass conventional bomb.

Big bombs make big holes.
Last thing we need is a huge gaping opening to a vast oil pocket, dumping into the sea at high speed.
