“...possibly preventing the U.S. from being able to resume drilling for years.”

That’s the reason for the skullduggery right there.

The administration has decreed a six-month moratorium on exploratory drilling in the Gulf

Let's see...a 6-month moratorium starting in May and ending late November 2010...There's probably nothing politically related to infer there, is there? Nah, just move along...nothing to see here....

Salazar shouldn’t even be Interior Secretary. They break and bend the rules whenever they feel like it. His appointment required a Saxbe fix by Congress. On January 7, 2009, Congress approved a bill, S.J.Res. 3 and Bush signed it into law The fix was in by reducing the Secretary of Interior’s salary to the level it was prior to the time Salazar took office in January 2009.

I think we are seeing step 2 at the moment. But it definitely explains why they want our guns. You cannot have step three until the 2nd Amendment is repealed

I fear that the air quality is very poor in that area due to all the toxic chemicals that they used and all that natural gas that is flowing at a rate of 5 times more than the oil.
Will bo use that as an excuse to evacuate the gulf coast? Step 3?

Incompetence and deception at its’ finest. I can’t wait ‘till we’re rid of these clowns - if we can survive that long.

He shouldn’t be for a more profound reason: This office requires a “Storming’ Norman” type, someone who has the ability to be in full command of this government side of this operation. But he is no more than a political hack.

This is costing people THEIR LIVELIHOODS!

Since when did LIVELIHOODS matter? The only jobs being created by the Obamateur are in temporary census or and oil spill cleanup.
