With Candy Crowley of all people asking a question like that, I would say the Statute of Limitations just ran out on them.

This is the second time that I have seen CNN Anchors asking some tough questions. The other being Wolf Blitzer’s interview with Philipe Calderon(Mexican Dude).

We’ll see how long it lasts but they are clearly being directed to ask some tougher questions. I think they are sensing the trainwreck headed our way and don’t want to lookk like they were asleep at the wheel. Better late than never if they persist.

Probably a temporary ploy to boost horrendous ratings.

More likely some of their stockholders have bothered to look at CNN’s ratings and advertising profits compared with FOX and word has finally drifted down to the grunts that something needs to change. Done grudgingly and too late (I hope) but interesting nonetheless.
