In the 2PM ET hour on MSNBC, anchor Tamron Hall did a news brief on Democratic Congressman Bob Etheridge assaulting two students attempting to ask him a question last week, proclaiming: "...there are some Democrats that are blasting the people allegedly behind this video....some would catagorize that as an ambush interview..."

Here we go. The media is going to turn Etheridge into a hero.

MSNBC is a parody of a parody of a parody of itself.

“MSNBC is a parody of a parody of a parody of itself.”
A caricature of a caricature of themselves.

At least their MO is easy to figure out.
The dems motto: Whenever a democrat does something stupid, a republican must be the real cause behind it.

Here we go. The media is going to turn Etheridge into a hero. Won't work this time. Over at DU, they're 95% in agreement with us. The guy was drunk and disorderly and assaulted those kids. His apology and news conference sealed the deal.

I nominate anchor Tamron Hall as one of the nominees for “Dumba$$ of the Day” award. Good grief.

So isn’t it the same thing Michael Moore does to accolades from the same people?
Yet I haven’t seen any GOP’er grab him in a.....”hug”.

What happened to gonzo journalism? What happened to Sam Donaldson's shouted questions to the President? What happened to 60 Minutes interviewers chasing their victims after their producers shot undercover video? The left used to love all of those.

The kid asks one question and it’s an “ambush”?
To: chessplayer
Even were this true (which I don’t believe), that’s still no reason for him to go off half cocked on this young man. Are the Democrats saying this is acceptable behavior by a sitting congressman? Then that tells me the level of maturity in the average congressman today.

I’d be surprised if Obama doesn’t appoint Etheridge the new Press Secretary.

They can spin this however they want, but in the end, there was NO EXCUSE for Etheridge to put his hands on that guy - NONE WHATSOEVER.

The GOP Congressman would have to be about 10 feet tall to have arms long enough to get around Fat Mike.

Oh gee, can you imagine the danger he was in...
Why they asked him questions, and the tape was rolling...
His whole family was in jeopardy...
This sort of thing could bring the government down if it was allowed...
Good grief Lefties, grow a set.

Democrats and liberals are proving themselves to be on the same par as Islamic jihadists.
When they defend creeps who are caught on tape assaulting a citizen reporter the way Etheridge did, there’s just no denying that they don’t give a damn about the truth, and will lie to your face about even the most obvious of things for partisan reasons.
I swear, this nation needs to recognize that we have an avowed enemy movement working to destroy this country, right out in the open. We then need to take the necessary steps to contain and neutralize this threat to our survival.

What is the legal definition of “assault”? Isn't it in most states unwanted touching? Can't one be charged for assaulting a police officer for even less than what the Democrat Congressman did?
