"Oops, I made a mistake. It was Carlos Montoya I saw, not Segovia. I get them mixed up. Must be the Espanol."

Sure it wasn't Carlos Santana? Or maybe Charo? ;-)

How about Stanley Jordan? Walter Becker from Steely Dan? I know you’re always going to get arguments with these lists, but this is quite possibly the worst list I’ve ever seen.

Glen Campbell played on God knows how many sessions for so many different artists...very underrated. I think they wanted to make him a Beach Boy at one time.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!

One of my favorite songs is "Bleed to Love Her"

I named my 17 year old daughter Lyndsey in his honor.

AND Rush Limbaugh mentioned him the other day; I didnt hear everything he said, but I thought he was saying Buckingham contacted him and that he was a conservative?

Didn’t see James Burton and Eric Johnson. Probably because they play Fenders.

My top two are (in no specific order): Stevie Ray Vaughan Jimi Hendrix

I'll go with Stevie on top, since he always acknowleged a special connection with Henrix, so he's a twofer : )

I've listened to SRV a thousand times, and he still makes my jaw drop.

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Voodoo Chile (Slight Return)

Any top 50 guitarist list that doesn’t have John Petrucci and Steve Howe is worthless.

No Dave Davies?

I've said it a zillion times and I'll say it again: I don't really get the Delta blues/rock connection. The English "blues" rockers--and even American electric blues--simply does not have the rural Southern roots sound of acoustic country blues. The chords may be theoretically the same, but the sound is totally different.

BB King, feh! Charlie Patton is The Man!

I saw Fleetwood Mac on their Say You Will tour and was blown away. Lindsey was the best guitarist I’ve ever seen. He went to the front row, let a fan strum his guitar while he changes chords. Didn’t miss a beat of the song. He also did ‘Big Love’ a capella, with just his guitar. Everyone exploded in applause when he was done. Its a rare talent to sing lead and play the pickin’ style he does.
