Responding to Obama’s Oval Office address to the nation Tuesday night, Steele said in a statement that the president’s actions demonstrate his inability to lead the nation out of a disaster and show an “appallingly arrogant political calculus.”

I am glad the Chair of the RNC has learned something from the current administration and he is not letting this "crisis go to waste." Finally!

The ‘fund’ already exists, in theory. We pay for it regardless. One of the jobs, by law, of the President is to handle situations such as this. The Oil Pollution Act of 1990 mandates this as obama’s responsibility.

Then he shouldn’t claim that BP will pay every cent they owe because there’s no laws mandating such a thing.

Obama has spent our money foolishly and now “Murphy” has paid a visit with this oil spill and we have no money to throw at it. Same as when I blow my money and the car breaks down and I have no money to fix it.

government trust fund? There ain’t no such thing.

All trust funds set up by the U.S. Government are placed in the general fund. The monies are considered spent immediately.
