We had a young British friend of my daughter's stay with us for 10 days about 2 years ago. One of the first impressions he had of America was all of the American flags. He was astonished by that and said in England, you might see the St. George one but rarely the Union Jack.

Pretty sad to see what the once-great British empire has become....
