In Obama’s mind, if he says it’s black, and sixty seconds later says it’s white, he has not lied or been inconsistent. His newest statement not only cancels his older statement, it makes the older statement nonexistent. I.e.: he would insist he never said it was black. I think he is psychotic, fwiw.

I think that's an accurate analysis. I think he's psychotic, too. He seems to be semi-functional on a daily basis (he doesn't take off all his clothes in public, for example) but he's obviously living in an entirely different "reality" from the rest of us.

I think that is a very astute observation. It held for Mohammed--the later sayings in the Koran, which are much more violent, are generally taken to be more important than his earlier, more tolerant statements.

It is also why a malignant narcissist can turn on you like a snake. That was then, and this is now. In fact, then doesn't exist anymore.
