It was when I got to this point in the story that it no longer seemed even remotely credible: One asked her “to just suck it up; otherwise, the world’s going to be destroyed from global warming.”
I, like many others, enjoy the sport of watching the high and mighty fall, and this would be really good sport, but gonna have to reserve judgement on this one.
Oh, I think it’s credible enough. I’m cynical enough to believe there’s more than enough lawyers and self-centered greed to go around. So maybe Al Gore DID commit sexual assualt and the woman IS looking to get paid.
He has certainly behaved as if he fears there’s a good case against him.
