Obama tries to put Republicans on immigration hot seat

On the hottest flash point in the debate, Arizona's new law targeting illegal immigrants, Mr. Obama said the rules are "unenforceable" for local police. But he didn't give any indication when the administration will file an expected lawsuit seeking to block the new law, which takes effect at the end of this month. ~ Advocates on both sides of the issue say they don't expect Congress to tackle the issue before the elections, both because of the already-crowded legislative schedule and because there is no clear consensus on how to proceed.

WASPS founded and built this country, and fought and died for it.

Damn straight, and its a damn shame that you guys were "overthrown"/surrendered back in the early-mid 60s. I say this as someone of Polish/Italian heritage.

BTW: Everyone interested in the subject should pick up "The Rise and Fall of Anglo America" by Eric Kaufmann. Get it at the library, as, like most academic books, it is quite pricey.

The "nation of immigrants" might have been true at one time, however, the number of natural born Americans far exceeds the number of naturalized and illegal democrats in the country.

The country is a nation of Americans...descendents of immigrants yes, but for the past two hundred years at least, we are Americans by birth and by Spirit.

The "we are a nation of immigrants" is just another democrat talking point to try to push a few million "instant democrats" upon us for election purposes.

Bringing in illegals, subverting the citizenship process to get voted back into power, is treasonous. No difference in that and an invasion force coming in and picking their own leader to take over the USA.

If obama brings in enough illegal democrats to keep himself in office, he will never leave...and there is a never-ending supply of "illegal democrats" that can come up across the border. NEVER ENDING SUPPLY. COUP. OBAMA DICTATOR...I hope somebody gets it.

"you guys were "overthrown"/surrendered back in the early-mid 60s"

I agree with that - in a sense - as I was there.

I once knew a guy whose profession was installation of hardwood and laminate flooring. He was a Picasso at his craft, a true craftsman.

One day - in his early 30's - he had decided that he had worked enough at manual labor, so he bought himself a store to sell floor covering.

He hung up his work clothes and donned some Dockers, dress shirt, tie, and dress shoes. He stocked his (oversized and badly located store) with the best brands and displays.

Then, he sat on his ass as waited for the business to come rolling in.

It never did.

He lost the business, his home, and everything...he was NOT a businessman, he was a craftsman.

It made him so bitter, he refuses to go back to his craft, and is now on food stamps.

The moral of the story is, there comes a point when everyone forgets who brought them to the dance, and tries to elevate too fast, above their pay grade.

All across America we've seen the government stifling industry and business with draconian tax laws and impossible regulations...so all the "craftsmen" have hund up their overalls, and coats and ties are everywhere..."businessmen"...with no business.

We have forgotten to dance with the one that "brung" us to the prom. At some point, it became "shameful" to be a craftsman, to work with one's hands, to make things.

We sit and allowed our government to create a system where it is cheaper to ship the raw goods overseas, make a product and ship it back over here...than to make it here in the first place.

Then we sit and wonder "where have all the jobs gone?".

If we had had a 1960's version of the "TEA party" movement - someone to counter all of the "anti Americanism" that was going on then, maybe we could have stopped some of the congressional raping of our country.

EPA laws and taxes are the tools they used to bring us to this point in time, and still they want more control, like with cap and trade...and healthcare.

We have traded our tools for cotton sacks, and voluntarily walked into the slavery world. Afro-Americans who think slavery is over are wrong...they have just changed masters. Their boss is now the democrat/progressives.

The dems tell them how to vote, what to think, and how to live their lives wrapped up in cradle-to-grave hate and resentment. If they try to use common sense and stray from that mold, they are then ostrasized and called "Uncle Tom"...or, are told they are "acting white".

It sounds crass, but the democrats (read: communists) are treating them like "cattle", raising, grooming and supporting them for one purpose, to keep the left in power in this country. That started in the 60's and the left has used color leverage ever since to get what they want...they used it to elect an otherwise, totally unqualified, barack obama to the White House.

It won't stop either. At least not until everyone stops cringing each time the word "race" is uttered. It's not about race, it's about "control" and money..."race" is the ballbat used to beat it into us...especially there are any SEIU people around.

But as "Anglo America" falls, we see who the real racists are, and have always been.
